The highest environmental standards thanks to EMAS


Eco-management and Audit Scheme is a useful tool helping to create in all kind of organisations culture of sustainable development as well as resource and energy efficiency.

EMAS is a EU scheme based on regulation 1221/2009 on the voluntary participation by organisations in a Community eco-management and audit scheme (EMAS).

EMAS requirements are helping organisations to implement solutions ensuring that they are achieving they main business goal with full complaints with environmental standards. EMAS is also a transparent tool for environmental reporting helping to maintain dialog with intercessors. 

The Ministry for Environment in Poland is register in EMAS and it is fulfilling the highest standards of environmental protection.

As a Ministry responsible for COP19 it is taking care for environmental aspects of a big international event such as climate conference.
