Charity Collection for Victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines
Upon the initiative of H. E. Mr. Marcin Korolec, President of COP19/CMP 9, on Friday, 15 November, the Polish Humanitarian Action will organize a Public Charity collection for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
Volunteers will be placed at the escalator area at the -2 level of the Warsaw National Stadium from 8.30 a.m – 3.00 p.m. We are looking forward to your support!
The Polish Humanitarian Action is a well-recognized non-governmental organisation which was founded in 1994. Since 2004 it has also been a public benefit organisation.
They concentrate mainly on ensuring sustainable and stable development of regions suffering the consequences of war and/or natural disasters. The most important strategic objective of the organisation is to combat poverty by ensuring the observance of inalienable human rights. They act for the right of access to water and sanitation, right of access to education, right of access to food, right to live in decent conditions, right to protection of life and health during natural disasters and armed conflicts.
