Partners for COP19

12 companies have decided to support the organization of the Climate Change Conference COP19. The cooperation includes also provision of green products and services. During today's press conference, Minister of the Environment Marcin Korolec thanked the partners for their commitment.

Working with partners in the organization of large international events is nothing new. So far, companies had the opportunity to become partners during similar events twice: during the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2011, and during the COP14 Conference in Poznan in 2008.

Past experience shows that such a model of cooperation works. On one hand, companies have the opportunity to promote their activities on an international scale, on the other – we, as the organizers - get professional support for high-level organization of the meeting. In addition, the support of our partners will allow us to reduce the costs of organizing the conference from public sources - says Marcin Korolec, Minister of the Environment.

Companies that decided to help in organizing the COP19 provide substantial support. The products and services they offer are green. In return they receive the title of a partner supporting the Polish Government in organizing COP19, as well as the right to provide information about their role in the organization of the summit in their commercial  materials.
